I believe that in all portraiture you should aim to capture the essence of the individual. The eyes are the “windows to the soul”, and they convey so much about where the person is in their life, their mind and in that moment. Whether there is joy, confusion, glee, anger, sadness—I want to immortalize that moment with them.
